This is a 9 bed project with communal lounge, kitchen, bathrooms and toilets. Clients are expected to have achieved some level of stability in respect of their support needs and are encouraged to be looking forward with hope for their future. They will be establishing links with specialist agencies that have been brokered for them by our staff team. Medway Cyrenians have robust links with many specialist agencies in Medway and across Kent, so we are able to access services in respect of drug/alcohol dependency, mental health issues, recovering from childhood abuse and mediating damaged relationships. Depending on the individual clients’ abilities and aspirations, staff will be encouraging them to work, get involved in volunteering or returning to education as a way of improving their employability in the long term. Those clients with confidence and self-esteem problems will be linked into services which can help remove such barriers. Support at this project is Mon – Fri office hours, with help available from a duty on-call officer, whatever the nature of the emergency. Direct Access (0-3 months stay on average) 1st Stage Move-on (6 months stay on average) 2nd Stage Move-on (6-12 months) 3 bed shared house (length of stay varies) Resettlement / Outreach service
