Allocations are decided against specific information disclosed by the person at interview, routine background checks and the current group dynamic at the project. Risk assessments are undertaken to identify who is in greatest need at the date a room becomes available and the client will be contacted and offered a room. The allocation decision is based on the individuals personal risk around basic health and safety as well as the impact on the group dynamic at the project. We are usually unable to cope with the level of demand placed upon us. Details of the individual are held centrally and shared with other supported housing providers in Medway in order to reduce the time that individuals wait for accommodation.
